Once connected, Claude can use Cove's read-only tools to answer questions like these.

Claude pulls your live account balances from Cove — checking, savings, cards, investments and loans — and does the math for you.

Get a plain-English breakdown of your spending by category, and ask follow-ups like “how does that compare to my usual?”

Claude reads your recurring bills and subscriptions from Cove — with amounts, cadence and predicted next charge dates.
“Which of my bills could be lower?”
Cove's bill watcher flags bills that look negotiable. Ask Claude which ones, then let Cove negotiate them for you.
Connect Cove to Claude in three steps
You'll need a Cove account and a paid Claude plan that supports custom connectors.
Open Claude's connector settings
In claude.ai, go to Settings → Connectors and choose “Add custom connector”. Custom connectors are available on Claude's paid plans.
Paste the Cove connector URL
Enter https://api.usecove.ai/mcp as the connector URL. Claude registers itself with Cove automatically.
Sign in and allow read-only access
A Cove page opens where you sign in with your Cove email and password and approve read-only access. That's it — start asking questions.

The connector is deliberately limited. Here's exactly what it can and can't do.
Read-only, always
Claude can look, never touch. It can't move money, change your accounts, start negotiations, or edit anything in Cove.
You sign in with Cove, not Claude
Access uses industry-standard OAuth. Your Cove password is entered only on Cove's own page — Claude never sees your credentials or bank logins.
Bank-grade security underneath
Cove connects to your banks through Plaid and never stores your bank credentials. The connector inherits the same security model.
Disconnect anytime
Remove the connector in Claude's settings or contact support and we'll revoke access immediately. Access tokens expire automatically.
