    Common linking issues and how to fix them

    Troubleshoot a bank connection that won't link or keeps disconnecting in Cove.

    Quick fixes

    1. 1Confirm your login works on the bank's own site or app first.
    2. 2Complete any two-factor prompt your bank shows during the Plaid flow.
    3. 3If you recently changed your bank password, re-link the account.
    4. 4Update to the latest version of Cove and try again.

    A connection that worked then stopped

    Banks periodically require you to re-authenticate. When Cove shows an “action required” badge on an account, tap it and sign in again to restore the link.
